I have to say, I hate this whole system in which some clubs have a small army of loaned out players dispersed throughout the league. It's bad enough that it underscores the huge financial disparity between the rich clubs and the rest. Even worse, now I have to follow every loaned out talentless or misfit player of ours, find out how many minutes they played, cheer on them when they score for fucking Stoke or Sunderland… It's like a cloak-and-dagger Cold War between big clubs now, our loanees try to score against them, theirs against us… I prefer Stoke to be the representatives of solely their city and fans and for me the only time our players play against Chelsea is when Liverpool plays against Chelsea.

Jermaine Defoe said on TV today that Raheem has been raving about how good Assaidi looked in training at Melwood. Quite a surprise, as I assumed Assaidi must have been rubbish to have been shut out of contention while he was here.
Assaidi is good in training because they often play five-a-side.
I actually think he and Coutinho are the first two picks in that type of game.

Agree but say for example Everton had Chelsea in an FA Cup Final or they were 4th and 5th playing each other on the last day of the season with the winner getting a CL place, that would put Lukaku in a pretty shit position.
Its all a bit of a farce really.
Everton may live to regret not sticking the ball into the net off the few chances they've had so far. A draw would be a decent result for us.

the good thing about these top of the table clashes this season is no matter the result you can tell yourself it's ok for us. Arsenal win, well they've beaten the bitters and we're 3 points ahead of them (everton) . Everton win , we're still 4pts behind arsenal and a draw is a bit of both obviously.
It's amazing how many people keep writing them off. They're very very physically strong & play good footy too.
