Agreed. Barkley, Fellaini, Cahill, Osman is probably a better midfield than ours. Unless Gerrard starts and plays a blinder.

Which is pretty fucking sad given the money we spent in the summer.

Fellani's good. Osman and Cahill, meh. Useful for a goal, little else.

Would much rather Lucas and Adam than Osman and Cahill.

The Merseyside Derby is notorious for a Red Card or 3 so please lads, for the love of God don't get yourself sent off. Yellow Cards are being handed out like they're going out of a fashion, two mistimed tackles and it's an early bath.

Carragher and Skrtel's rash challenges worry me as does Adam's ridiculous high tackles, Lucas's silly fouls and Suarez's temper.

Oh and Kuyt to start for sure. Be a bit fucked up if he doesn't.

The way I see it

Lucas v. Barkley - Lucas has more experience but Barkley is the superior talent
Adam v. Fellaini - Fellaini is well better
Cahill v. Henderson - Cahill easily
Osman v. Downing - Downing's probably a bit better

They also have more experience playing together and loads more derby experience. Lucas, Adam and Henderson on the other look thoroughly disjointed. So I'd say, there's plenty to worry about. Unless Gerrard starts and plays really well.

I think we may play 3 in the middle
God knows. Kenny isn't the easiest to predict. Only guaranteed starters in my view are Reina, Carra, Skrtel, Enrique Lucas and Suarez.

Who knows who will play after that, Spearing could come in, possibly Maxi, possibly Bellamy.

I think that's a wee bit harsh. I'd see it like this:

Downing >> Osman

Adam << Cahill

Lucas = Fellaini

Henderson > Barkley

I have a sneaking feeling we'll go 3-5-2/5-3-2 with Coates/Carra/Skrtel flanked by Kelly and Enrique.

If Gerrard starts he'll slot in alongside Lucas/Adam else Spearing to add bite (or maybe Downing to add quality) in the middle.

Either Kuyt/Suarez to do the hard yards up top or he might be tempted to continue with Carroll/Suarez.

Personally I'd go for 4-2-3-1.

Playing 5 defenders against a team with fuck all strikers would be plain stupid.

Really am baffled at many Reds going with the 'ah we'll take a point' mentality'. Fuck that shit.
We're way far the more expensivy team, have players all over the pitch and are generally a bigger Club than they'll ever be. So why on earth are some of our fans settling for a point. QPR went and had a go at Goodison and came away with 3 points earlier in the season.

Not denying that Everton have some decent players and the Goodison faithful will be backing them to the hilt, but i'd like to think we'll get the win.

Listening to some Evertonians last night and the verdict was bang on. If Henderson plays then they will have a field day, if Kuyt or Bellamy play it will keep Baines in his own half.

Everyone knows I love the Dirk, but a result at Everton should not hinge on whether Henderson or he starts on the right wing.

We're a better team. Our approach, tactics, and style are of far more importance.

'All right, you primitive screw-heads, listen up! See this? This... is my 'boomstick'

It's a twelve-gauge, double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about $109.95. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt-blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right... shop smart: shop S-Mart... You got that?

Nah, the personnel are crucial. We need Dirk.
He'd be in my starting team too. But I'm trying to prevent the fucking internet landslide that will inevitably ensue should Hendo start and we coincidentally fail to win.

The fallout from that is too terrible to contemplate.

Someone, whose name rhymes with "rider peel" would be insufferable.

Poor Spidey's getting worse.

If we start with Henderson and not Kuyt it won't be our strongest side, hence you can't really argue coincidence if we get beat. That's the problem innit. It's obvious to everyone that Henderson shouldn't start. It will be like the last time I sat in Gladys St for one of these games expecting to see Alonso and got Diao instead. We got beat 1-0. Of course we fucking did. It's coz we had a big European game on the Tuesday but that didn't really concern me at the time. Picking Henderson tomorrow would be damn stupid, so all subsequent message board related shenanigans will be understandable.

The hell? It's not like I'm the one picking the team. If hendo starts aim your derision at kenny.

Lets now stop comparing players between the team and start playing like a proper team eh. Fucking hell.

Downing slightly better than Osman. Slightly??

And Barkley has played, what, 5 league games in his entire career.

Jeeeeezzzeees

So what if Downing is better than Osman?? The most important thing is he fucking show it on the pitch for us. Assist, goal, crosses, skill, team player and did i mention score goal? Fucking do something.

Merseyside derby ref Martin Atkinson has brandished 14 red cards since August 2010; more than any other official.

There have been 19 red cards in Everton & Liverpool matches, more than in any other fixture in Premier League history.

Adrian "Ginger King Wind-Up" Durham, on Talkshite is saying if we lose tomorrow, Kenny should offer his resignation.

Blue nose callers outnumber us, 4 to 1, at least.
