His media team posted that tweet and the club posted stock photos. He’s going to be announced as dead once his estate has been finalised.

5 subs has been knocked back again.

[article]Aston Villa, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leicester, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield United, West Ham and Wolves voted to stick to the maximum of three changes per team. The league did, however, agree to extend the number of substitutes listed from seven per team to nine.

It is understood that whereas Manchester City and Liverpool made the case for a rule change during the shareholders’ meeting, no counter-argument was presented. It is widely held, however, that clubs reluctant to adjust the rules feel any change would embed a competitive advantage for those clubs with deeper squads.

Joel Matip is likely to be available for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The centre-back missed the midweek win over Tottenham Hotspur due to the back spasm that had forced him off at half-time against Fulham the previous Sunday.
But Matip has since returned to full training and Jürgen Klopp expects him to be in contention for the lunchtime kick-off at Selhurst Park.
“Joel trained yesterday completely normal, so it looks like,” said the boss on Friday morning.
“I’m not 100,000 per cent sure but it looks like.”

A total of 1,569 players and club staff members were tested between December 14-20; the seven people who have tested positive are self-isolating.

According to Physioroom, potential return dates :

27th Dec. : Thiago

6th February : Tsimikas & Jota

No Return Date : VvD, Gomez, Milner, Shaq.

Tsimikas has been a disastrous signing so far - injured in the pre-season, back for a couple of games, injured again until February. Maybe it’s time to promote that Beck fella from reserves; Robbo does need rest sometimes.
