No way will he be gone, i'll take that bet.
Now we all make mistakes I know I have but the current trend on radio and with pundits of using "them" instead of "those" is really winding me up.
Talksport have Mickey Quinn, Darren Gough and Ray Parlour who never use "those" ever, sounds awful.
"them types of players" - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Agreed. It's astonishing that people can't get 'there' 'their' and they're'. What do you need to understand?Oh, that gets me too, along with 'their' 'they're' & 'there'. It's not that fucking difficult!
Though I make considerations if English isn't their first language, obviously.
I just believe that pass and move is the way forward. We already have a decent squad and have players in our squad designed for pass and move so we will see the best out of them now. Plus if we can have gerrard and lucas fit for the first 10 games of the season it will be hard to fail.Already taken but you are welcome to contribute to the charity anyway.
I'm still surprised at the confidence in Rodgers, I just don't know where it's all coming from, my pessimism is mainly due to our last couple of managers, our budget, and each man wanting to do his own damn thing every time while leaving a huge mess for the next man to clean up. We shall see...

Was Aldridge big?Pass and move is great, and it would be great if Liverpool could get back to how we used to play. We never needed a big fucker who was good in the air like St John or Toshak or Aldridge to make it work then so how could we possibly use one now?
Rogers has to win we back after this shambles, not a great start for me
The thing that irks me most about Newcastle is 35 million was THEIR valuation of him 18 months ago. Ok, we were daft enough to pay it, but at the back end of last season he was back to the form that led THEM to slap that price tag on him.
I'd love it if we announced the price if Newcastle want him is 35 million. Anyone else can have him for 20 million.

Ha, I deserved that. I have a four year old & 10 month old on my knee with the laptop though, so that's my excuse!
The 'Rogers' instead of 'Rodgers' one is driving me mental.

Yeah- they knew we had 50 mill to spend and one day to spend it; I think they also figured out that we were taking the FFP rules seriously and this was a last chance at a free splurge. It was a crazy figure. Whenever Spurs bid £19m or whatever and it was rejected I thought *that* was a crazy figure.
I believe that transfer window was dubbed the last one not to count before the new FFP rules came into effect, hence Chelsea going mental as usual...Huh? What did FFP have to do with it?

Transfer fees get split up and apportioned over the length of the contract, so blowing the money then really didn't help a lot if that's what they thought. I think we just thought there'd be uproar if no signing was made and we panicked. I said on the fucking night it happened we should just sit on the money til the summer, especially haivng already signed Suarez. We really were utter, utter, fools.
BUT
wasn't there a big thing over us paying it all upfront? Because we're thick like

the difference is they have not just mugged another team by selling a striker for £50 million
told in no uncertain terms that 20M is the minimum.
