Another guard of honour. No Henderson so I will go for Fabinho, Wijnaldum and Keita in midfield. Mané to start. I don’t think Klopp will throw Williams straight back in and may bring him in for Trent at some point.

Get Elliott on the pitch at some point.

[article]Referee: David Coote. Assistants: Marc Perry, Nick Hopton. Fourth official: Martin Atkinson. Replacement official: James Mainwaring. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Adrian Holmes. [/article]

I don’t even recognise the refs name.

I think Williams will start again.

Would love to see Jones or Elliot start.

3 pts no injuries and 5 for Salah too much to ask?

I would like to see Minamino get some time in the Firmino role.
If Bobby get injured we need someone better than Origi or Oxlaide Chamberlain to fill in for him.
Minamino looks to have the potential to be his best understudy

I'd pick

Alisson

Williams
Gomez
VVD
Robertson

Keita
Fabinho
Wijnaldum

Salah
Minamino
Mane

Burnley are looking solid at the moment so we’d need to be close to full strength to give them a hiding. 5-0 win.

I'd be tempted to put Milner into midfield as much for his leadership as his ability. We've looked off the pace when Hendo hasn't been there to push the others on. Maybe replace him after a good hour's shift.

The five subs mean it's a cert that he'll play a pretty big part in these next games. Plus the fact I think we'll keep seeing Neco at alternating full back occasionally (I think he may well start ahead of TAA today), means there's less pressure to keep him for that position.

Add in what looks like a plan to play Keita into a level of consistency by playing a lot, with the fact he & Fabinho don't seem to gel so well on the pitch, & Fabinho also being able to cover at LB & there's a coherent plan of cover there, if not an ideal one.

Also yeah, from a pure leadership perspective, Milner can deputise for Hendo more effectively than anyone else on the pitch.

Hopefully he goes for: Alisson Trent Gomez Van Dijk Robertson Fabinho Keita Jones Minamino Mane Salah

If Minamino doesn't start then I guess he's off in summer.

This has been the ideal opportunity for him to start games and he's not started 1.

If he can't start games when the league's done, how will he start when we're defending the crown?

Yes, I think Trent will get a rest.
Doubt Milner will start in the central holding position though.
Fabs I reckon.

If there was going to be a curveball in there I'd say Elliott may be the one who may get a nod, with Milner at 6 & Elliot playing in front of Keita, but I'm not convinced he'll try that against this Burnley side.

Keita Fabinho Jones

I'd like to see that midfield trio given a go.

I think it could work. The thing with Dyche is he spends SO much time preparing his teams for certain players and certain formations that the unexpected could possibly throw them. I haven't seen enough of Burnley, thank god, to know if that's true, but I hope it is!

I want Milner to play in some capaicty against Burnley. They have players that can physically bully some of ours.
Robbo has to start and Fabs too.
I'd go for a Fabs-Milner-Keita midfield.
Neco could play instead of Trent.

When did he join?

Our midfield options are actually very interesting now we have the PL wrapped up (but I still want to see the lads take the points record). It matters for bragging rights!

I could accept any of the above formations including Millie, Fabs, Jones, Keita and Gini. Though I've a preference for Fabs, Gini, Keita (all very strong on the ball and at retaining possession).

I'd be happy seeing Neco at RB too. Firmino should start.

Klopp said he won't play Lallana just in case an injury were to derail his transfer plans.

That was when he had no need. Now we're missing someone that can press in the midfield, we might see that Klopp gives zero fucks about injuring him when the points record is at stake.

Confirmed line up - Alisson Williams Gomez Van Dijk Robertson Fabinho Wijnaldum Jones Salah Firmino Mane

Subs: Adrian, Lovren, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Shaqiri, Origi, Alexander-Arnold, Elliott.
