Just looking at the coefficients for a laugh - how come we got more points (30.000) for being losing finalists in 17/18 than we got (29.000) for winning it in 18/19. And how come Barcelona got more points than us last season?

It's to do with how many matches you win, and we lost, what, like 4 games? Think you get a bonus for winning the thing like, but not a huge one.

Mad that Arsenal are still above us despite doing fuck all in Europe since, well, ever.

Do well for the next 3 years and we should quickly rise up those rankings to virtually ensure Pot 1 from then on (assuming we can stay at or around this level).

Not strange per se. Just that the points UEFA award don't reflect the respective difficulty of each competition. Needs updating.

Pot 1 is for league champions, CL winners and EL winners.
Don't disagree that we will ensure Pot 1 every year, but it will be on the back of no.s 19, 20, 21, 7, 8 & 9 that we will do it, not UEFA coefficients
 
Every team either fears us or wants us as we are the biggest draw.

What a turn around in 24 months

How are Real in pot 2? It's all over the place this seeding system.
 
Jesus me, some tough tough sides in pot 2 & 3.

Best case scenario is Benfica, Dinamo Zagreb & Slavia Prague

Worst is either Madrid sides, Lyon or Inter and Leipzig
 
Do we really give a shit ? I dont think it matters to us, but it will matter to all the other clubs if they have to face us. I would love to get R.Madrid, we owe those cunts one.

Suppose. Just think it's mad they're pot 2 when they've won it so often in the last decade. Then you've got the likes of Chelsea and Zenit in pot one. I understand it, but it could be adjusted slightly.
 
After a lack of rest and, depth-wise, a small squad it would be nice to be able to just saunter through the group stages resting players with the job done after 4 games : Benfica or Ajax / Bruges or Zagreb / Genk or LOSC. Thank you footballing Gods.
 
Zagreb struggled against Rosenborg. Would easily take them, Brugge or Olympiacos from pot 3. Lille or Genk is also nice picks from pot 4. Benfica is the obvious shot from pot 2.
