No need to compare him to other players, he is Coutinho. He has his own style and we know it very well.

One thing about him, doesn't he have a pretty significant variation in performance between home and away matches? I think I saw some stats last season that proved it. If so, that's a big area of improvement for him, you can't get any real consistency without it.

Very true. Someone like Lambert or Balotelli in front of him takes away one of his biggest weapons – the through ball – and puts the onus on him to shoot more himself, which is still his big weakness. He NEEDS a quick striker in front of him, period.

BTW while Sterling didn't have the best of games yesterday, his intelligent runs, dragging defenders with him, directly contributed to 2 out of the 4 goals.
