City v Barca.

First thoughts, an injury or two for City wouldn't be a bad thing, second thoughts, Barca will be to good for them and win 2-1.

Should be a good watch.
 
I think if City play to the level they're capable of - regardless of not having Aguero - they'll score quite a few goals. Could be a cracker.
 
City are set up very defensively and a bit negative. They dont want concede and have abandoned some of their natural game.
Probably need a Barca goal for this game to kick off.
 
For the first ten mins. City needed their own ball cos they saw none of it. Changing now though.

Not conceding at home in the first leg is the new 'win' and has been for some time (making it not so new, really).

I heard a scum fan give a fair point on the radio tonight, he said city aren't a 'big club', they're a 'rich club' and there's a difference, you could have done what the sheik has done with city, to stockport, and you'd have them playing Barca tonight.
 
Stupid from Demichelis. Surley its better to just let Messi go for it there, and if he scores you're still in it with 11 players.
Barca will probably score at least one more and the tie is nearly over.
 
What amazes me about Pellegrini is he's allowing his 'comfort' with a shite player to dictate his own downfall.

Against Chelsea - Demichellis at DM instead of MIlner, who's a far better player for taht position.
Against Barca - Demichellis at CB instead of Lescott who played a really good game against Chelsae in the FA Cup.

He's a good manager, but his own infatuation with an average CB is killing his team.

Indeed, lets hope he sticks with him in the PL.

City have been shite. They bottled it right from the off and the sending off hasn't changed the result.

Also, for all their money, Clichy and Dimechelis is a shit half of a back 4.
