For some reason, Lazar reminds me a lot of a David Ginola.
Ha, good call actually.
For some reason, Lazar reminds me a lot of a David Ginola.
If below is true, I will warm up to him far quicker!
Chelsea had an option to sign Lazar Markovic for €15m, yet the player chose Liverpool instead [O Jogo]
I'm not so sure about your quoted criterion about players having problems then solving them. Where did you get that from and who are these players?
Ok JJ, I thought Suarez was brought in to partner Torres then it all went pear shaped but I'll take your word for it.I don't have links to hand, but the various criteria they've successfully used in sport management before now were pretty well publicised (on here and elsewhere) around the time they bought the club, and this was defo one of them. As far as "who are these players" goes: Suarez for one.
I think any young player with ambition and a little substance upstairs can see the difference between the two clubs' attitudes towards young players. Which club has Sterling and Coutinho moulded into the players they are and which club doesn't.
I'm already liking the lad alot after reading this:
"O Jogo say that Chelsea had the option to sign Markovic for €15m, rather than Liverpool's €25m, but turned them down because he preferred a move to Anfield. They claim that Chelsea have made an attempt to exercise their option but Markovic rejected it because he didn't feel that Jose Mourinho would use him enough.
Markovic has himself confirmed about previously being invited to Chelsea for a tour and to have dinner with several of the first team squad. The London club were expected to sign him next summer but Liverpool's move forced the issue and Markovic had to make a decision."
According to James Pearce the medical is off until Fri/Sat due to "logistical issues"
You mean, he didn't turn up?
Well, apparantly we had one who spoke Portuguese but Markovic cant speak Portuguese after living there for a year, so we had to get a Serbian one.. Hence the delay if true obvs..
Skrtel should have been present to assist!
Who knows. Neither of us are linguist experts but it hardly matters now.Eh? Skrtel is Slovak, Lazar is Serbian... the languages aren't that similar I think.

So this is going a bit quiet... is this like a done deal or wild speculation?
