Missed the game only watched the highlights.
Tell me if I'm wrong:
Larouci had a mare
We were poor in general
Mignolet made some good saves and had a good game.
Our team without Firmino, Mane and Salah is absolute shite. Add Keita and Shaq to that as well.

If it proves to Klopp we need further depth up front then it's not bad thing. Only a pre-season game in any eventuality.

A defeat ain’t a bad thing it shows we’re not unbeatable and gives klopp pause for thought on what’s next in his plans.

I only watched snippets of the game, but from what I saw and heard, Ox was our best player in the first half. Also, it’s a good sign that Brewster took responsibility for the penalty in front of several senior players and scored emphatically.

Not sure what was the problem with the defense; Dortmund scored 3 and Ming also made 3-4 difficult saves. That’s not like us.

Playing reserve teams or mixture of youth will have no bearing on thoughts after a ‘defeat’ in a preseason friendly.
He’s judging players either way. That and fitness building is the whole point of preseason.

Supposedly a lot of the defensive frailties came in the 15 minutes after halftime when we were still playing our 1st half team and Dortmund had refreshed. The heat and humidity was the reason.

No Alisson no VVD (in the starting line up), No Mane, no Bobby, no Salah ....No Wonder!!!

Saw the game this morning. The 2 goals in the second half came mainly cause Dortmund changed most of their 11 and we kept the same 11 until the 60th minute.
That 15 minute periode we looked understandably tired and all over the place.

Most of the players looked tired today. Even Milner.
Gomez was good, Ox was good and Larouci had a good first half in which he kept Sancho very quiet. Fabinho was pretty boss.
Brewster and Wilson with the goals.

First goal remined me of why we havent missed Clyne or even Ming. No descion making to go for the ball, just watching it.

All in all, a good run out for several players and some first minutes for some.
Everyone look knackered.

Is Wilson earning himself a squad slot .. or not ? Even if he doesn't have the all round game (yet) maybe he really someone to bring on when we're behind with time running out (plus he'd surely get games in the FAC/LC/WCC and maybe even a round or two of the CL vs lesser lights).

Lovely ball from Fabinho and Step-over from Brewster (?).
