Many South Americans have no qualms about playing in Asia/Middle East/Russia even at the peak of their career if the money is right. They can still achieve glory with their national teams while earning the kind of money that would set their family for generations - can’t blame them.

In what world does Quansah out and Badger in make sense? Badger is barely proven as a play in his natural position (CM) in the PL, let alone as a CB. Quansah whilst young and relatively inexperienced, showed himself to be somewhat capable as a stand in CB and weirdly looked even better when at RB.
If Quansah goes we have 2 CBs in the squad, and that is a glaring issue.
I would not ever consider Quansah as being better at RB than what he was as a CB.
I agree fully on the expectations we have of Badger - I see him as the mature youth option to play - for whatever position he is suitable for. But I do not see him as a main guy or the sub for the main guy. Quansah has a below average season - but we can all agree he looked very good the season before where he started the most games. So the talent is there ... but only if he is playing alongside VVD not Konate.
Yeah, Boro play in the Championship. I hope we get good dollar for wee Ben when we do move him on. He's a good player, just not top for title winners like ourselves...

£36m too much. He was always (and still is) a £35m player. Not his fault that we vastly overpaid. He always gave 100%. He’s a decent player and will have a decent career….he will even have one very good 30+ goals season and some on here will suggest we got rid too soon.
