Liverpool related transfer speculation

I thought he was a really good keeper. Thought he might be a good nunber 2 for us? Anyway - glad he’s getting his time in The Lying Rag!

Transfer round up
1. kerkez will sign
2. Robbo to Atleti
3. Ekitike to Liverpool
4. Quansah to Bayer L
5. Doak to Everton

If we sell Quansah and I’m not certain we will, we’re definitely bringing in a CB.

Going into the season with JoGo as the only backup CB with Konate in the team would be a terrible decision.

I think Harvey is the more likely transfer out.

Its clear we are going to need defenders as Quansah looks to wants to move and may be even Konate. Who is in your list
Konate replacement
Bastoni
Nico Schlotterbeck
Lukeba

Quansah replacement
Inacio
Hincapie
hato
Madina

Olympique Lyonnais forward Malick Fofana (20) is garnering considerable interest from the Premier League. As well as Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, cited as potential destinations for the Belgian winger, L’Équipe now reports interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.

With Lyon in financial difficulty, Fofana was earmarked as one of the players who could leave the club this summer, and like Rayan Cherki, who joined Manchester City for over €40m earlier this month, he could fetch a handsome fee.

OL want €50m for Fofana. Chelsea have already opened casual talks over a move, however, there is plenty of competition for the forward. L’Équipe understands Manchester United and Liverpool have a strong interest in the player, with the latter even holding talks with the player’s new agents.

Whilst Nottingham Forest also hold an interest in Fofana, L’Équipe reports that the club does not have the necessary stature to tempt the player, especially in light of the other interested parties.

So either Diaz is leaving or Gakpo or Diaz moves to #9.

It would be nice to be linked to a defender

Big words from his agent and it's always nice to hear when smoke is being blown up our arses but I worry why his through balls/shot tally is so low.

If Fede is off (looking increasingly likely), there is room for a young talent to come in and stake his claim but I think I'd rather that door opened for Rio. Don't see why he couldn't be next season's Nwaneri.
