Elliott maybe reached his ceiling very young. He has a brilliant football brain and eye for a pass but his lack of pace and physicality are limiting.

I don't think that they would have let Quansah go without having had a verbal agreement in place, with Palace & Guehi, to replace him. I expect to see that finalised in the next 2-3 weeks.

Realistically, I think it'll go sales > signings > holiday > extension

Luis Diaz not gonna be offered new a deal looks on his way out in the next few weeks. Well he’s seeking a move away.
Considering his age that's a bit of a surprise - so I'm guessing he will be Tsimikas' replacement for the 2025/6 season.

If Quansah is gone, then a CB is an absolute must and it’ll likely need to be a HG player or one that is still U21 - and I don’t see many U21 CBs who aren’t high enough quality to play regularly for us.
So… Guehi makes the most sense and that’s the priority.
Nunez select likely the next priority, but I feel like his replacement we’ll take more time with because the market is so poor, so there’ll likely be more of a focus on sales for a while.
Don’t see Diaz going - but I do see him being deployed more centrally and another wide forward coming in - with Fofana and maybe Simons or even Gordon on the list.
Then after tge ore-season tour, we’ll see which kids go out on loan.
The other “big” question is what we do with Badger - sell, loan or integrate. Endo staying doesn’t help him and Ivtjink well cash in there - maybe we bring in another midfielder later in the summer - I see Stiller isn’t off to Real after all.

The rumours are (and they are just rumours) that both Konate and Diaz are not happy with the latest offers from the club. Some go even further to say both want to leave the club. I would like the club to tie Konate down to a long term contract but if he won't sign then sell him. We might only get £40m now or nothing next year. If the stats/data show Guehi is a capable centre back for Konate then we need Hughes to look at his book and see where else he can get another CB who can be 3rd choice.
Diaz two years left, less concerned with and negotiations can continue into the season until Xmas
