After last night Mike Dean has now sent off 100 players in the Premier League. Looking at the list of players, there are no Liverpool players on it, nor are there any players when playing against us.

Does he not officiate in our games, and if so what is the reason?

Sorry cant post the link..

It was telling that there was no english refs at the world cup. The standard of refereeing in the premier league is at an all time low.

He's from the Merseyside area so he doesnt get to ref us.

I believe that's actually due to some infighting in the referrees association globally.

The Premier league refs don't stick to all the rules that they're meant to, & haven't done for a couple of seasons, some of their rules outright contradict the global rules now & that's caused some issues politically, understandably.

Didn't know this.... Can you expand on the rules in question? And why the English refs have chosen to not follow them?

The premier League is played at infinitely faster pace than any other League , so the possibility of misscalls is rife , Italian football is slow as fuck and Spanish isn't all that !

I only know cos they had an ex PL ref (fucked if I can remember who now) on talksport talking about it a while back.

He didn't state which rules, & unfortunately it was Jim White presenting who didn't have the sense to press him, although he said there was an actual argument over the English refs using fourth officials watching TV coverage & advising the on the pitch ref through the mic, & that the English refs said they don't agree the on pitch ref should always have final say (which I agree with them on tbf) & haven't been using their rules & guidance on VAR in Cup games & they way its being used here is different to the way the rest of the world uses it.

I’ve heard the commentary teams mention there is differences with VAR being applied between Champions League and FA cup games. Fucked if I can remember.
