Is it just me that finds it a bit galling that he seems to think he's missed out at all? They never even really mounted a challenge. The way he was like "I'll concede over my dead body", err, it's pretty arrogant isn't it? Just taking it for granted that they were the default challengers? We never had to hear from Nuno, say, about how gutting it was to miss out.
I know in reality they were always the most likely, but I can't help thinking it's kind of dismissive to the teams ACTUALLY close to them to be dwelling on the title.

Most of the League has been really competitive this season, look at 2nd place to 7th. The areas where it hasn't been competitive are at the top and at the bottom. Re the top, it's not our fault we've found it so easy. To be honest, I don't even think we've been that great, I've been bored shitless in the main watching us since Xmas. But, we've found a way, very easily. It is what it is, we're the best in the League.

But this narrative that our title is somehow less worthwhile because we "had it easy", that can get in the bin. If it was so easy, why didn't your boys win it? Answer, because they weren't good enough. And we were. Suck it up.
