People need to fucking chill out, get off their phones etc.
What a load of fucking bollocks.
Hmmm.

Do we even know that the players dislike Slot? Feels like that is another social media, body language expert/rumor mill.

You "forgot" to quote the clarifying sentence about Tiktok.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I know this isn't a remotely original thought, but the reaction from fans and social media generally to a bad half season has really made me believe that a lot of people have been quite damaged by the internet/social media etc.
The lack of patience and this apparently driving need for sensational takes - I just don't think you'd have got that 20 years ago. And I see a few others have noticed it as well, specifically in this context. I'm not a big fan of his but Martin Samuel was on the TV on Sunday talking about exactly this - booing at half-time etc. How there's no such thing as just "a bad season" anymore. I think there's a lot of truth to that.
I think Ballbag was on Twitter recently too, sharing the same sentiment. People need to fucking chill out, get off their phones etc. Or at least get off fucking Tiktok.
My concern about Slot is really he is disliked by players and rubs them up the wrong way. Kind of like Rafa but maybe not as cold.
I am concerned this will lead to a loss of players and making it harder to hattract others.
And yeah, he likes intensity and possession so why can’t you attack like your predecessor? Why did you not replace Diaz? Why are you so bad on forward transitions?
Oh you won the league? That was nice. What about now?
Again. That wasn't the point of the interview ! Not everything has to be about the playing side of the game ! Whether you consider it a PR exercise or not it was an interesting look inside the club.I totally get that. We do not need to be reactive and that in the social media age, the reactions are over the top and some of the earlier commentary on slot this season was ott
Having said all that we won the league last year and are currently out of the champions league spots. We are losing games. We are drawing games. We’ve only won six games since October. It’s not really a social media over reaction anymore. We also have a manager seems to be struggling to attack, struggling to use a squad and struggling to manage personalities.
Maybe we are about to move past this.
But I really don’t think a sponsored PR exercise is going to change my own view of things. If anything, it shows that they’re clearly worried.
I couldn't be bothered to watch the video so asked Gemini to summarize it for me. Does this kinda cover it?

Lol i read the second two paragraphs like it was a quote from Virg and got very confusedVirg speaks about it in the interview with Gary Neville released today too.
I think the club are very conscious of this issue and the way pundits (especially ex-players) and a small but growing percentage of our fans are affected.
Being a bit more traditional and "knowledgeable" than most clubs, our fans have resisted this longer than others. We're getting to the point now where we're actually at risk of affecting our newer / young / inexperienced / prospective players negatively. We're becoming the cunts we accused the world of being.

Careful you’ll get compared to me again, the most damming of all insults.Maybe this is true, but the name calling and pure hatred directed at Slot (not just on here) does not seem in line with the supposed LFC culture. It may be that we part ways with Slot at some stage (personally I hope he proves everyone wrong), but the disrespect to a manager who brought a PL title to the club in his first season is sickening.
You’re including yourself amongst ‘very intelligent supporters’?Careful you’ll get compared to me again, the most damming of all insults.
All this season has shown that even some very intelligent supporters are not immune to being human and going off the fucking deep end and then doubling down on it when called out. I include myself in that but I’ll always prefer to in the positive camp vs the world is caving in camp. That camp for life in general leads to anger, anxiety, depression, and the worst cases suicide. God knows we’ve got enough that in the world. We don’t need more.
😅😅😅😅You’re including yourself amongst ‘very intelligent supporters’?
Same, I was very surprised when big Virg called us a bunch of cuntsLol i read the second two paragraphs like it was a quote from Virg and got very confused
