Mo Salah 2025/26 Season

I look forward to your posts about how brilliant are once Salah is either in Afcon or not playing. Maybe can get the old gang back together with Bobby and Mane, that should fix it.
We're always brilliant when he's away. So I have no worries about that.

We played no bodies last time out…
I doubt we will get any worse when he is away but the point scape goating as if he is the single player will not fix anything even against 5yr old Mane and Bobby. We got bummed by City not because one player was shite, because I can’t remember any player remotely doing anything of any note.

I mean this wasn't exactly helpful:

What was the score at the point?
Was he not offside as someone had already corrected you before on this. You were better when you used to start threads about Mo being a bad Muslim dude. You are better than this.
@localny was wrong.
He could have passed the ball.

But was it material anyway? What was the score?
Does it matter? He has proven several times that it doesn't really matter whether we're in the lead or not. He did the same in the fucking CL final when he could have passed the ball to Mane.

Course it does. You go on about a pass when it was 3-0 and possiblty offside. Then another Mane reference to the final where Mane was shite. How about also acknowledge why he is the highest assist leader again? Problem
Is you have such a narrowed focus to continually and dig out the faults which is clear but ignore the positives to suit an agenda which isn’t going to fix the issye.

I have no questions on calling out bullshit easy passes to score in games we've lost. It's not a new thing. What is a new thing is that he's not scoring the chances he could easily square.

Is that 3 goals wirtz should have by now?

It's all about building confidence in a team, and should be building confidence in new players.

3-1 final score with wirtz getting the goal burden off his back is infinitely more preferable than 3-0 and everyone feeling shite

Yeah because Wirtz only problem is he isn’t getting goals. Partly an issue but Wirtz attempted through ball in the City game is a meme. He is supposed to be a 120m, I expect him to take responsibility too. Yes,
Salah should have square it to him to get monkey off the back but Wirtz has missed a few one on ones too.

1. Which final has Salah been great in, btw?
2. It wasn't offside, there was no possibility of offside. He could have done exactly what Chiesa did in the Southampton game for the second goal. But of course he isn't, and of course you're going to defend him.

And so the fuck if it was 3-0? A goal certainly doesn't hurt us.

How many finals can you actually remember us playing great in?
You are on about a chance in a game where we were down 3-0 down. Honestly, we were so bad wouldn't have made any real difference.
So answer my previous question, who is the leading assists statt in the last 2-3 few seasons? How come you post stuff only of the things that didn't do right but yet not balance it out with positive examples?. Not saying you are wrong he isn't selfish but continually kicking a guy when he is down above everyone else is a bit low for supposedly LFC fans forum.

Salah has been our assist leader the last few season, but it shouldn't surprise anyone because he's the attacker that has the ball the most as well.

Consistency Across Seasons:

In 2022–23, Salah had over 2,000 touches in the attacking third, more than any other Liverpool forward.

In 2023–24, he again led attackers in passes completed and touches inside the opposition box.

In 2024–25 (current season), Salah has logged nearly 1,000 minutes already, with the highest attacking possession share.

Salah also had the most missed chances per minutes played in the EPL last season.
