Mo Salah 2025/26 Season

If Isak wasn't playing like shit, weak, waste of money, pile of trash then I'd be pretty ambivalent about playing Salah against Brighton but, as it stands, we probably need him to feature.

I’d be shocked if the data doesn’t say Mo has the body of a 25 year old. He treats it like a temple and works every day to preserve it. Just like James Milner.

He’s 33 not 38. If we had employed the same tactics and system as last season you’d be seeing a much better Salah.
How many year-old a body did Salah have back when he was 25, and why was he able to sprint more and sprint faster back when he was 25?

My sources told me the reconciliation is very tentative and made just so he can come on for the last 5 mins to get a send off before we flog him to the North Korean League in January

Does sound like a last send off with 5 mins at Anfield.

Even if he did score and still apologised, is it likely he would be called less of a cunt a week on? I doubt it, there would be something else in the future. Never seen so much anger and vitriol for a single player who’s served with us for 10yrs.

Why did he need to have hair transplants then? He was in the gym so much! Why can Ronaldo no longer move his face?

This idea that the gym can make you ignore the effects of aging is bro science at its best, and it's a form of male body dysmorphia these days, driving cosmetic surgery.

What’s wrong with getting hair transpants? You mentioned it a few times. It’s his money, hair is important to many. Is it a sensitive subject?

That’s not the point I’m making at all. Depending on diet and exercise you can absolutely have a body of a much younger person. Just my body fat tells me I’ve the metabolic body of a much older man.

Yes, but it has a limit. You still just keep aging. Salah is still slower now, and no amount of gym, sleep and self care would do anything about it.

He's just in better health than he would have been at the same age. He's not younger.

At 25 he wasn't balding. At 30 he was. That's time. No amount of body is a temple and time at the gym did anything about it.

No, it's not a sensitive subject, I've never been able to even grow a passable beard, but the hair isn't a problem.I do seem to hate elective cosmetic surgery more than most. I find it wildly distracting in movies for example. Like, my wife will be watching something set at any time prior to 1980, or in other places, and I'm like, no, that face didn't exist then. Same with every other guy being on TRT.

I think he was correct to get hair transplants because I think people are stupid and superficial and easily tricked. If he looked like what he naturally looked like now, he would read as someone past his prime, which he happens to be. He would have less value in advertising as well.

Of course but he is also far from finished if we deploy tactics that utilise him effectively as he’s our best goalscorer still and can lead us to CL glory imo.

Sure he’s not going to be here in 3 years time but he can certainly be here this season and next.

We invested over £300 million on three attacking players. Shouldn’t we be looking at getting the best out of them instead of someone who won’t be here next week?

We’ve tried that and it’s already cost us the league by Xmas.

Salah can be here another 18 months minimum and potentially even longer if he adjusts his expectations.

We tried playing your mate with them and it didn’t work.

I think the result at Inter was in large part due to Slot having his attacking options limited (with Mo in the dog house and Cody in treatment). Instead of trying to shoe-horn players in, he picked a coherent XI and it did the job. With Mo being away after today, possibly permanently, I think that will help too.
