Has had a great Season indeed but not one for us. I see his max level as a top 8-14 club in England. Maybe a sub-top in Spain/Germany.
Dolberg is a completely different breed - as in potential world class.
His stats with Copenhagen are no too shabby either, 43 goals in 92 appearances. he is the type of player Southampton would go for and he would score 15 goals for them and then move to a bigger club for twice what they paid for him. Feyenoord got him for €3.5m last season. Feyenoord sold Pele to Southampton for £8m on the back of a season where he scored 23 goals in 28 appearances. So depending on the asking price he could be a very good squad player.
It is a very likely scenario you lay out, however one reason why we shouldnt be in for him is that he is only good when played week in week out. Being the main man. We'd not see anywhere near the player he is now when played as 2nd/3rd/4th choice and there are in my opinion better options for us out there when it comes to 1st/2nd choices too.
Also his work rate has always been under some scrutiny why Id be amazed if Klopp was even looking his way in the first place..
