It's only saving grace is the little fillers they have between matches. 'A leg with Bobby George' and the like.

Why do all the darts players look like they also play 'beat the wife'? I can't help thinking when you get the camera shot of the pensive wife/girlfriend at key points in the game that they are thinking, "please get the double or I'm getting a kicking tonight". Mervyn King's wife used to look particularly frightened.
