There was talk in one of the papers with them wanting Allen for £20m, and at the moment they are willing to spend over the odds on players, so my view is why not?

Moreno is a highly rated young left back for the spanish team, much like shaw is in england. Both balotelli and rooney are supremely gifted footballers, but they perform few and far between.

Hardly matters because Rafael is perma-injured so ManQ must be better.
LOL. Seriously biased team comparison. RVP would walk into our team. As would Shaw, De Gea, Di Maria and Mata. Rafael I don't rate, but i've seen more of than Manquillo. Nowadays, I'm not sure who's better in the DM role, a novice Gerrard or a man who has played there for years in Carrick.
I'd say there are 4 or 5 players from either team that would get into the others team.
Pretty evenly balanced but Rogers has you playing as a team while we are just at the start of that process.

He's looked very good most of the times I've seen him. We'll see how he does at Utd. Looks like there are question marks over his mentality already. A mate of mine was working as a doctor at Southampton a few years ago and told me about Shaw. Said his talent was outrageous, but he didn't give a shit it seemed. Was more interested in talking to his mates during the game on the sideline, for example.
They could do with Agger. @ChastenedMUFC would you take Agger for £15 million?

There was a few who wanted kagawa last season. And seeing that they are over paying I would not be unhappy seeing some of our surplus to requirements being sold to utd at a premium.
