I don't claim, the results were there for all to see and experience.
Unless you're telling us it didn't happen or she and her Ministers didn't realise that large swathes of industry would close, millions would be unemployed and whole cities and towns would become barren. That planning no help or assistance wouldn't alienate people and thus divide the nation. I doubt even you can be naive enough to think it some sort of unintended consequence.
As for the episode in the article, that happened some 3 years or more after the damage was done. It was significant though in that it divided the Police from the public.
A direct legacy of Thatcher's divisive nature was to drive a wedge between ordinary people and the Police - no one trusts them anymore. If, back in the day, you'd suggested we'd have para-military style Police and that no-one would trust the Police to do the right thing or even tell the truth (need proof?) or even report crimes to the Police they'd have laughed.
Side-tracking or trolling ain't going to get it done for you. She divided us, you only have to switch on your TV or pick up a newspaper or talk to people or go on the internet for proof.
