Hansern only posts what he wants to be true. Go back to the Moreno thread.

No posting of the comments of the player or the club President - which were irrelevant in his words. Lots of.confirmations about the deal being done though from nobodies on Twitter

Of course he would post the one's that he wants to believe. Hope get's us through the window but sadly hope can ultimately kills us.

It's like me and Oncy camping out in the threads of the players we want to sign.

So, correct me if I'm wrong here.

You want a long meandering thread to track the progress of signing a player? Yes

But you don't want any real news to be posted in it, particularly if it casts doubt on the deal happening. You just want random twitter updates confirming it as happening

And you think this is fun?

I think we do need a subforum

Ross, of course I want 'real' news if it's available. I just said perhaps Hansern's pasted the tweets that gave the link hope. Hardly a crime.

Why don't you set up your own twitter account and post rumours you like, then quote them here as if it has a bearing on whether something is likely to happen ?

Am.... because I don't want to. I've never actually posted a tweet into a thread and besides, who claimed twitter rumours have a bearing on whether something is likely to happen?

They are included in a thread as filler. Nothing else. If someone wants to believe some are more credible than others, then let them, more power to them. I don't agree with them btw but they aren't harming anyone or ruining the threads. You are doing more damage to a thread by stirring it up any time someone posts a tweet that cannot be proved as fact, according to your rules.

I don't know why you care so much about people posting tweets into threads. It's not the end of the world and no we don't need a non fiction thread. Well, unless, it's non sport related and a home for Oncy and some other of our creative writers.

You just claimed they gave the link hope. And they are ruining threads left right and centre, if there's going to long threads tracking players and whether or not they're coming to us then those threads need to have news updates. Not bullshit.
