Just occurs to me that with all the transfer speculation and names getting bandied about. Hazard, Wickham, Aguero (I wish) Mata, Zapata, Enrique, Adam bla bla bla. The one thing that is absolutely sure is that Liverpool will make at least one signing that comes from nowhere! And by that I mean a good, maybe 'marquee' signing. Or at least a first team signing. This new look team of KK and DC are a clever and wily duo. They are going to do as much of the important transfer stuff in absolute secret or at least 'behind closed doors'. This makes sense as anybody who read the 'Secret Footballer' column in The Guardian as few months ago regarding the transfer windows know.
It seems an absolute dog eat dog world when it comes to the silly season (see Liverpool's attempt to highjack the Jones transfer and Ginsoaks vice versa attempt with Adam - We all know its a bit of mischief by two old hands)
I think the transfer window is littered with these sort of signings. I remember my flabber being gasted when we signed Anelka all those years ago (admittedly that was in the January window) I think Meireles came from pretty much nowhere too. - My point is that I feel that of all the names getting mentioned in the gossip pages I bet the most exciting one that we do eventually sign has hardly been spoken of.
