Yeah, like I said, he was a proper snide with the way he went about it. And he's clearly only thinking about brand Trent with the move and the Balon Dor etc. I understand the animosity.
I'd just hoped we acted with a bit more class and dignity. It's all a bit Everton chanting rat and defacing his mural and burning effigies etc.
The best revenge is being successful. If we really want to hurt him, just move on and be even better. Karma is a bitch and there's a fair chance that it won't work out too well for him there. Let it happen and maintain our class and dignity. That will make him look an even bigger bell end in the long run. With everyone calling him all sorts he can at least justify the move to himself after the fact.
Have you ever broken up with a girl that's acted hysterically after you've swerved her, trashing your property, slagging you off on social media and you think, phew! bullet dodged? Compare that to when you finish a classy bird who just takes it in her stride with dignity and moves on to a dashing, charming hunk who's better than you in every conceivable way and you end up regretting your decision and make a twat out of yourself, drunk calling her at 3am begging for a second chance? No me neither... But still. Be the classy bird.

I think we can agree that defacing property is a bad idea. I'm not sure why that's getting lumped in with booing.
I don't remember there being quite so many people having strong opinions about booing. Maybe it's a sign of the decline of public discourse thanks to social media.
