His image will be restored if he starts making some great saves and stops being a cunt.

He could start by cutting the fucking ludicrous mullet topknot combo off the fucking pillock

It is too early to move on from the denial stage yet.

Hopefully he got to bang that pornstar while he was in LA. Another little thing to help rebuild his self confidence on the road to becoming the new Germany keeper.

That was all designed by his agent/management team, apparently. Ludicrously they decided the strategy after the final needed to be a quick and confident response building 'back' his image and commercial appeal, with the mad idea of drones and stuff recording his US jaunt as the first step. All very sad.
Fucking hell, what a retard.

If there's any reason we need to sign a new keeper, it's this.

If he thinks this is the best way to build back his image then he seriously needs to Fuck off his agent.

It's a huge jump from the record of £34.7m for a keeper to the kind of fees - £70, 80, 90m - that are being mentioned this summer, so I don't blame the club for being pretty cautious about paying anything like that much for the likes of that distinctly underwhelming Brazil keeper. If you pay that much you really HAVE to get a superb keeper who is guaranteed not to mess up.

And it's not really an alternative to go for another up-and-coming keeper, because we can't afford the time and the trust after past disappointments.

But we can't just go on with Karius. The problem I have is I simply don't know enough about the other keepers who are likely to move to know who's worth over-paying for. So at the moment I'm sympathising with both sides in this sorry mess.

This is where I stand.

I totally get why the club don't won't pay stupid money for keepers that aren't world class. Financially speaking this is the worst time to buy a keeper for us cos everyone knows we want one.

I also totally get why most of our fans are gonna be really pissed off when he is our keeper next season. This side is so close to greatness & a truly great keeper goes a long way to tipping the balance in our favour. Cos he almost certainly will be our number one next season, I think that cos I know neither klopp nor our owners will be held to ransom over any keeper & especially not one that isn't their number one target.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius was "100%" influenced by a concussion in their Champions League final loss to Real Madrid, says Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.
Errors by Karius, 25, led to the Spanish side's first and third goals in their 3-1 victory in Kiev in May.
Karius collided with Sergio Ramos with the score goalless, and five days later was discovered to have "26 of 30 markers for a concussion" in tests.
"For me it is 100% the explanation [for his performance]," said Klopp, 51.
"He was influenced by that knock, that is 100%."
More to follow.

He also said its an explanaition, not an excuse. And that Karius hasnt used it as an excuse either.
Fair play I guess.

Going into the final the goalkeeper wasn't a major concern, right?

His form had been pretty good and steady enough.

As there isn't a good alternative out there at a reasonable price I am happy enough with Klopp backing him.

He was for me after his Roma displays and various other fuck-ups.

Kinell, Klopp has gone to Wenger/Ferguson levels of bullshittery to defend his players. No Klopp, he's just shit. If he can't take a little bump then he shouldn't be playing as a keeper the fucking fanny.
If we don't sign another keeper, which is currently looking likely, I'm expecting Karius and the defence to have a mysterious uptick in form and ability next season, in no way related to us finally buying a DM.

His instagram video gave me a concussion too.

But I'd still be able to catch Bale's shot.

If Karius is our number 1 this season then prepare for another season of disappointment. We we'll win fuck all with him in goal.

I said after the final nothing would make me happier than to see him go from this career low, if not potentially career destroying moment, to come back stronger than ever ... I honestly don't know if he will or not. I don't think he's good enough, but part of me really really wants him to succeed -
