It’s not an issue mainly because he rectified the mistake and replaced it with a superb addition. Digging his heels in longer would have been a disaster.

Look the truth is, he needs to do something else, he is finished as a goalkeeper, there was slim chance after those final blunders when millions maybe a billion or more people watched him make those mistakes. Where ever he goes, people will always know about his failings, and I am sure he will NEVER get over it, it was sadly his Barbosa moment, and it remain with him till he dies.
