All I know we were getting linked with the right players and I am sure we will get 1-2 #9s may be LW if Diaz leaves and a CB who that is, feels irrelevant at the moment.

We all know where we are at with Diaz I think. He'll stay unless a significant sized bid comes in, then we'll put it to him that it's an offer we could accept if he wants to move on. I think that's about the size of it.

Personally I'd rather see us act sooner rather than later, because if he starts this season we might as well write off getting anything decent for him, but we'll still have him for another year or two, and he's a good hardworking player. So it's one of them. Go for continuity or strike while the opportunity is there to cash in and buy someone we're going to get more longevity out of.

I wouldn't be averse to that but I do want to see what Danns is capable of.

Suspect Ekitike a value would have to drop a chunk for us to be interested and also to afford another striker on top. Gyokeres seems to provide the best value to goals to experience level for me. I like Sesko but I kinda don't want potential any more. Jota had nous, experience and goals. We need that.

I think we could get Ekitike for 60-70m, There's money to get someone for 50m, and that'd equal 1 Isak.

How much would Osimhen go for? Maybe if we forgo a winger and get 2 strikers (because now we definitely need 2).

Just finding that supplementary striker will be the task.
