So with injuries mounting up and some clear lack of depth whilst we are in a title challenge… we are surely going to bolster the squad?!

What do we think? I’m certain a full back or defender who can play across the back will come in. Less sure on everywhere else.

Do we have any strong links around at the moment?

Full back a must, and I'd still.like another forward; ideally in the poacher mould

a left footed center back, who can cover left back too would be perfect
and a forward who can put them away

Robbo is due back for Newcastle I think, Nat will be back then too (end of Celtic loan) and there seems to be a strong feeling we will terminate Carvalho’s loan at Liepzig.
I assume we will register Nat and de-reg Joel

With Matip and Kostas both likely out for the season and question marks over Robbo for me a CB and a fullback who can play both positions.

Fuck spending on a fullback, who wants to buy a fullback ? Its a shit position to buy for, can we buy for a more glamour position, like a defender, a midfielder or a proper porn star striker that can actually score ?

Fullbacks have been the heart and soul of this team for the last 8 years. Without them we wouldn't have had the success we had.

Possibly/Probably but he is part of the squad and we are paying his wages so I assume Klopp will be expecting to use him
Well he didn’t before…even when we had a bona fide CB crisis he started shifting Hendo and Fabs there first before eventually having no other option but to play Nat.

We need to sign a CB Klopp trusts and let Nat join a Championship side.

I don't think we will buy anyone.

I'd happily see us buy a forward though, and we can offload one of the non-scoring wasters that we have if necessary.

yeah - and they cost us a combined 8M in total, so I don't want to hear this crap about getting a world class full-back for 10M+, we develop our own with specific requirements. We have ballers now in midfield, just a shame the front quality is not the same to make use of our new midfield talent right now.

BREAKING NEWS...
Liverpool has just signed Kylian M'bappe, Jude Bellingham, Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies and Vinicius Jr o_O

Just work up salivating down my front of my jim jams :)

After seeing what happens to teams like Chelsea etc with mass changes - I would not be feeling anything with that. Also Vinicius Jr and Mbappe play in the same position, and Curtis Jones is better than the other two midfielders you have in your list.

Fine by me but which Championship side is going to give us a big enough fee for us to pay a fee for top draw CB and cover the wage liability for the length of their contract (plus the agent fees for both transfers).

I'm keen to move house but even If I could get someone to pay a fucking stupid fee for my absolutely gorgeous house and get some sort of knock down deal on a mansion in Chelsea I still couldn't afford the stamp duty

(Nat's out of contract in the summer)

Well given I’ve not stated that selling Nat would cover a CB that Klopp trusts, I’m not sure why you’re going about Chelsea mansions etc…

We should have the budget for a 20-40m centre back if that’s Klopp’s priority, especially given we were prepared to commit 110m for Caicedo at the end of the last window.

That’s just it, I honestly don’t think we do. We spent more than usual over summer to revamp midfield so I expect very little other loans over this window

All I want for Christmas is for Schmadtke to pay the release clause for Goncalo Inacio

And if Wolves have had a bit too much to drink, slipping away with a bit of Rayan Aït-Nouri would be very nice.
