Y
Apparently so but there's no way mourinho would go for him. That would require him making the effort to actually groom a raw talent rather than buying a ready made one, and we all know mourinho is no good when it comes to that.
You never know with Chelsea, though, if that will keep him out of title challengers's clutches.

apol if already posted, but this video in incredible. this lad looks like the real deal.

pace, dribbles, determination, passing, vision and technique.

Another fecking release clause! Sick of 'em!!

Bartering, 21st century style:

TOURIST: Ah, now, I've seen this sort of thing on a Michael Palin programme. I offer you two of these for one of those, then you ask for ten of those for one of those, and then I come back and offer five of these-
LOCAL: Look mate, it's got a 'three of those' release clause. Take it or leave it.

if true, a 45m euro release clause for a 32m fee sounds like horrendously shocking business by us. release clauses should be like at least twice that fee. Ryan 'Scottish Messi" Gauld has a 48m pound release clause...

If this is Sturridge's new strike partner, I'm guessing he's in for a shock when Sterling steps it up and makes him into his bitch/substitute.

I think he might find it a tad more difficult to skip past players in the PL given that he won't have half the space he has in those clips - still not denying the lad has skill but I know he's going to get slated on here for having an upright running style.

Seems to me that Brodgers is going for creativity all along the front line, a tighter defence and although maybe fewer goals overall, without Suarez, but a greater chance of breaking down a stubborn defence, Sturridge, Sterling, Lallana, Markovic, Higuan ..... massive creativity and pace amongst most of those.

You added a player who has a whisp of rumour (Higuin) but neglected to add a player who actually plays for us (Lambert).
I also think Sanchez, Di Maria and Balotelli will add goals to our game.

Ah. Coming straight here from the Higuain thread and jumbled the two together - how come you didn't work that out, should have been obvious !

There is no way we're incerting a 45 mill euros release clause after signing him for 25 mill euros.
I got more faith in FSG then that.

He's nothing like Aqua, Babel or Leto.
That said he'll probably take time to settle but this could be a potential superstar imho.
I'm guessing we'll have threads writing him off in October after some poor performances... 😉

We need to tell him to lose that alice band or whatever you call them hair band thingies if he doesn't want to become the next Aquilani.

Lazar strikes me as a player who could be anything he wants to be. Fast, strong, technically able and willing to move country again at an early age to further his career.

Suarez wasn't world class when we signed him but he developed into a top tier player. I don't know enough of Lazar to suggest he can step up like Suarez did but I'm presume Rodgers and Co are green lighting this transfer hoping just that.

Fingers crossed that Lazar will be our Kaka this time next year. #positivethinking

Nemanja Matic: Markovic is young, he’ll mature, and then nobody will be able to stop him!

The majority of players do well at Liverpool because they get great support from the club and the fans to use their ability. Those that fail tend to lack ability, a work ethic or cannot cope with the pace of the game.

I assume the club didn't offer it, & that's the only way he'd agree to come.

Let's face it, most foreign players are gonna want a more to real or Barca at some point, so they probably insist on it & know another club will agree if we don't.

Is this release clause info being reiterated by any reliable sources?

It sounds fairly incredible to me.

Whilst I see what you're saying, I think he's desperate to play in the premier league and champions league with Liverpool so wouldn't demand such a clause and put the deal at risk. Personally I just think release clauses are the in thing, so the journalist made one up.
