Unfortunately that team is no where near as good as the team that had Suarez in. Now if Sanchez was there instead of Sterling...
I can't for one moment imagine that we have finished buying to replace Suarez. Sanchez would be perfect .. but what if it is, say, Jackson Martinez ?
Still not good enough, we need a brilliant player in, otherwise top 4 is a big doubt. Someone on the level of Sanchez, Reus, etc. Martinez isn't good enough.
Of all the doubts I've seen raised about him, the one that he's some kind of kick and run merchant is easily the most bizarre. I don't think I've ever seen a player run at top speed with better close control.
They said the same thing about Mr Bale too (not that I'm optimistic currently about the transfer)

This is quite a good video to watch to get a quick idea of his range of abilities. It's his first 7 goals for Benfica, and a very impressive collection it is.
Fair point. Still one game doesn't make a player, but it highlights some of the frustrations we'll probably see in him whilst he's growing as a player here.
No that wasn't the reason at all. Just thought it would be good to see what he was like against premiership opposition. I actually didn't think he looked shit. I thought he look 'raw' but not shit. You can see the potential is there, just needs fine tuning and experience.
I made that claim based upon watching about 1 minute of a youtube clip– and I fucking well stand by it!

Apparently so but there's no way mourinho would go for him. That would require him making the effort to actually groom a raw talent rather than buying a ready made one, and we all know mourinho is no good when it comes to that.
Plus he has flair and stuff and isn't a great defensive option.
