Liverpool - Villareal pre match thread

Great half for us. We've been excellent, but they still have had chances. Nervy, brilliant euro night so far.

So far, happy
  • Mign - really good early save.
  • Clyne - massive improvement from last week
  • Toure & Lovren - have been ok as partnership
  • Moreno - can anyone teach him positioning?
  • Can - how key is his return? The first goal was because of his run and pass out to Clyne.
  • Milner & Lallana - solid
  • Firmino - looks much better than last few weeks
  • Coutinho - menacing but still a shadow of the player he was 1-2 months ago.
  • Studge - looks hungry - he'll get a goal in the 2nd half.

Oh, and Villareal are acting like a bunch of tits. Fucking cry baby pussies. How does Suarez escape a foul for his 'work' on Studge and Clyne then gets a yellow on Soldado (who looks much stronger than he ever did at Spurs!)?

I wouldn't put Milner and Lallana in the same bracket.
Milner has been brilliant and Lallana work rate aside has been a bag of piss.

Yah, that's fair. Milner did set up Lallana with a fucking great chance and he fluffed it ... Really problematic.

Hateful as that kind of "football" is, they've played the referee very well. It stems from their manager, who's a right little dreckschwein.
