Huge game if we want this team to be seen as one of the greats.

Not sure we are playing well enough to turn this around and not concede.

Fuck me that midfield would get so abused, it would repress it, and then kill itself in 35 years after a string of failed relationships
 
Yeah, I'm not confident about this one. Team is not at it's best atm, but we're back scoring goals so that's good.
I think the game plan here is not to force it. They got a lucky goal last time and not much else.
I really hope we can build on the latest win.
Can't argue with Dreamy's proposed team, apparently Fabs was shite today so maybe Milner plays but I kinda doubt it.
Hopefully Hendo is back for this one. That would would put me at ease.
Adrian frightens me a bit, hopefully the players trust him more than I do, cause we can't be nervous about him too.
 
It will be a Midfield of fab, hendo and gini

We need frim to turn up. On current form it’s going to be tough. Though entirely possible under the lights for a European game.

OK, that's accurate, but at least we scored goals. From shots at the goal. And Mane and Salah are the only ones who can do that reliably. So them scoring one each is a decent sign. Or at least promising.

It is promising that they can do it against relegation threatened Bournemouth. However they're up against a much bigger issue than Ake and...whoever the fuck their keeper is

Not just him, to be fair. We have too many shit players: Ox, Origi, Fabinho, Lovren, Gini, Adrian, Keita, Firmino, Lallana and on and on. It will be a miracle if we don't get pummeled in this game, i hear.
 
Robertson replaces Milner at LB and Hendo replaces Ox and the rest as we saw today.

Atletico will go Pulis on us and put everyone behind the ball so patience will be important but they don't stand a fucking chance over 90 minutes at Anfield.

Ok, I think fate is at play and preparing us for this game already, which gives me some hope we may actually go through. It is all about Adrian in this fixture, I think if we score the only goal and the game goes to penalties, I actually have faith in Adrian as more of a penalty saver than Alisson.

But in terms of having faith in the team to win this in the 90mins, not sure, I still think we labour too much to score against parked busses. We really need to go at 100% speed like the Liverpool of 2 seasons ago, the machine plus grind method will not work against this lot.

Just to be clear, Fabinho, Firmino, Adrian and Chamberlain were indeed all fucking shit today. Again.
And Origi, Lallana, Lovren and Keita were all fucking shit in the last few games they played in.

Atletico drew their game at home vs Sevilla today, 2:2. 21 shots, only 3 on target, 45% possession. Joao Felix finally scored.
 
I didn't feel positive about this tie ... Thought we'd be out of both cups when the draws came out.

I think we're out - but I have a feeling if we're to turn this around, Bobby will be key ... 1st anfield goals coming up.
 
Soak hendo in a horse's vagina or whatever is needed to get him ready for the match , don't want ox or keita anywhere near the starting eleven

It's essential robbo starts , it would be nice if someone could Adrian to punch rather than parry too , although feel that was probably an instruction for whatever reason
 
Can’t see us winning this. And I don’t care. Treat it as a training game to get some form back before the next league game. That, and no injuries. All I care about is the league.
