Big statement for City if they can win this game after what Wolves have done to them in the last two years.

One of their bogey teams.

What are you talking about ? - the only statement City can make is if they beat us in their games, otherwise there is no statement to be made.

Pirlo had a very encouraging start at Juve as they outplayed Sampdoria 3:0. He surprised everyone with an unorthodox team selection, giving debuts to 3 young players, playing a young American prospect Weston McKennie in a double-pivot with Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey at #10 (Ramsey proceeded to have his best game in 2 years), while the newly signed Serie A young player of the year Dejan Kulusevski (if you guessed by his name that he's Swedish, good for you!) partnered Ronaldo in attack.

I watched the highlights and it was just unbelievable how quickly the ball moved when Juve were in possession – it looked like a Football manager "game of circles" when you play it at double speed. Maybe I underestimated Pirlo as a coach – this performance showed signs of a clear vision and a unique style.

I don't care about Juve but now I have to watch since there is an American. He got good reviews and I'm excited to see how he develops under Pirlo's guidance.

It could have been 5 or 6 with all those chances Ronaldo missed.
McKennie was very good, Kulusevski is such a fantastic talent (he was obviously signed first by Atalanta) and Ramsey was a totally different player from the last few years.
This Juve team will be fun to follow going forward, as they were a totally different side to previous years. Always wanting to attack and such a positive side.

Got caught in possession early on a few times but credit to him that he picked up his speed of play and really didn't get caught again. Played it quickly too. Fast decisions, kept it moving. I'm hopeful he'll blossom for the national team as well.

It's looking like maybe another strong generation of young players for the US. Pulisic, Reyna, McKinney, Adams, Dest, that Konrad fellah for Barca. But for the life of me I can't name an outstanding goalkeeper. How strange is that after so many years of that position being the only world-class one we ever had.

Our national team manager thinks Sebastian Larsson is better.

Chelsea beat Barnsley 6:0, Havertz hat-trick. Judging from the highlights, he has a much better understanding with Tammy Abraham than with Werner. Abraham was not selfish and set up 2 goals for Kai, who showed the kind of ice-cold finishing we've seen from him in Germany. On the positive side, their defense still looked shite even with Thiago Silva. Barnsley peppered their goal in the 1st half, but couldn't convert.
