PL Opposition Tidbits

It’s all a farce, particularly when you look at the clubs in multi-ownership structures that are allowed to complete.

It’s typical football administration - it should never have been allowed in the first place, but the minute they tried to legislate they created the normal scenario where the bigger clubs exploit loopholes and the smaller clubs get punished.

Would you be happy qualifying for the champions league and waking up in the europa?
Very different to Europa to Conference.

And as the Palace owner said himself, his first thought when they won the FA Cup was that they can’t play in Europe. They should count themselves lucky.

The difference doesn't amount to much any more though. The Europa isn't what it was now that CL teams no longer enter it if they get knocked out early. If I were a Palace fan I'd be telling myself we're probably among the favourites for the Conference League. It's an embuggerance rather than a disaster IMO.

Scum agree fee for Mbuno , decent player going into the unknown who’ll no doubt turn to shit, he’d of been better going to spurs.

united have probably spent more than they meant to here, they pushed on when it seemed like newcastle were going for wissa

I love the fact that Brexit Jim was adamant that Utd would be forced into paying more than their valuation…. Shortly before caving to Brentford’s increased demands and also the fact that absolutely no-one is interested in signing anyone from the “bomb squad” on Utd’s terms after Amorimjob made it clear they’d never play for Utd again.

Brexit Jim will be busy trying to charge people for using a kettle at work if he’s not making them redundant first to help cover the cost.

I swear we let Irish Kevin go to Brentford cheap on condition they fuck with Utd over transfers.

Brentford surely favourites for a relegation spot now.

Lost their manager replacing him with the set piece coach.

Lost their best attacker.
Lost their best midfielder.
About to lose their best striker.
Signed Henderson.

18th incoming.
yup i think i referred to them as the titanic previously and i feel bad for our lads joining. at least kelleher will get a lot of practice.

Exactly and we have a 20% sell-on clause, so if they get relegated it's arguably good news for us because he's too good to play in the Championship.

They need to give us the Mbuemo and Wissa money for Darwin and Tyler. Then they'll be ok

I think any club that scrapped a 15th finish has done pretty well to get Cunya and Mbeumo.

The reality is Man Uniteds scouting is utter dog shit. Most of their failures have come from overseas. What they need is some steady signings that aren't total and utter disasters. When the standards are that low then Cunya and Mbeumo are reasonable signings. I would rather overpay then have some assurance then risk another Anthony or Sancho. A few more of them and they may we well then the lights off and call it a day.

Thankfully the 3 promoted sides are shite and Amorimjob looks like he’s desperate to get Utd relegated too!!!!

All they need is Ange to take over someone like West Ham and they’ll be finishing mid table.
