If that was done to our player by a player with a yellow, we'd have asked for a second yellow ... Shaqiri made a meal of it but we're just lucky that Dean was extremely lax with his whistle today (which mostly hurt us)

Ming, as much as I moan about him, was arguably our best player today. Punched every single cross & set piece out of danger, made several brilliant saves, some last ditch ones he had no right to, & for once didn't shit his centre backs up even once coming out & playing the ball in danger areas.
I watched this game with a proper bitter, BITTER blue sitting next to me & even he told me Simon had a great game. To give you an idea how bitter this fella is, after an hour of me & my mate chatting with him about the derby, I finally, finally, eeked out the confession, "ok, maybe Barkley was a bit naughty BUT I can tell you all about your precious Gerrard doing well worse".
I have to admit, I simply laughed & said "Ahhhhh Hahahahaha, that stamp! Love it!" although tbf that was just me being a twat cos he shouted "GET IN" when Stoke scored against us.

Oh, & Firmino & Coutinho showed just how damn good they can be, & how fucking poor their teammates are in comparison.
Also, that ball from Wijnaldum for Coutinho's goal? Fuck me. As good as his finish was, it was nothing compared to that ball, that was fucking genius in football form.
