I mean, it'll completely throw villa off and arguably work on our favour. I just don't think Salah and Jota is a decent front 2 (on paper I know they've scored loads) as they've never done this. Jota has played as striker, but Salah playing off? Or is it Jota playing off with Salah up top? And that doesn't work for me either

Yep, but in fairness, a common criticism is that our attacks become a bit stale, so can't complain too much when we try freshen things up, hopefully it works.
The thing is we are ignoring obvious solutions that slot doesn't find acceptable. We've gone from one system that doesn't work because it's square pegs in round holes to another with some of the same concessions.
