Rafa sacked

To avoid looking a bit sad? But then Rafa isn't the kind of guy who worries overmuch about what impression he's creating.

He's had a bit of a miserable career since leaving us. The highlight maybe being the Europa League win at Chelsea but they didn't really want him there.

Can't really judge his time in China so not going to but his career really went downhill when he went to our neighbours, still to this day have no idea why he stooped so low as it was never gonna end well. Celta looks to be the final nail in his coffin as a manager.

Did well in his 2 years at Napoli and won 2 trophies, tough start at Chelsea mainly due to his Liverpool connection but ended with the Europa. Seemed to really connect with the Newcastle fans as Modo said and took a newly relegated Newcastle side back up to the Prem by winning the championship then finished a respectable 10th in their first season back in the league with no backing from Ashley.

His time at Madrid was an unfortunate one, actually holds a very good WDL record but his sacking came after the whole scandal with Madrid being expelled from the CDR after he fielded Cheryshev who was ineligible at the time.

Disappointing to see someone who was once famed for his tactical nous to not be able to move along with times.

The downward spiral seemed to begun with the parting of ways with Ayestaran.

Rafa is a football obsessive. Read some recebt interviews with him that suggested he was nowhere near considering hanging it up.

If he ever finds himself unable to get a job, he'll obsessively write in his notebook while watching the kids at the park. He'll die pitchside, I'm sure.

He will die in jail if he spends too long watching kids in the park.
