Brendan's bringing it back again isn't he?
He's had dog shit for luck so far regarding points on the board in the league.
Shafted by the board on the last couple of days in August but just got on with it and handled the media circus perfectly.
He had 9 players tonight that ran their bollix into the ground trying to impress him.
Which shows that the players are buying into his high tempo, work hard philosophies.
There's going to be a few speed wobbles but we are moving in the right direction a lot quicker than expected given our squad options.
If this man is given a good transfer kitty over the next 3 or 4 windows he's going to make us very good.
It's all about belief and trust.

Well I feel good tonight Leo. One swallow does not make a summer though. Need to do it again at the weekend ! I do believe in Rodgers and what he's trying to do though

I feel good about how loud the travelling kop were singing tonight.
Sex wee slighty

I've felt good about Brendan since the Man City game tbh. We're slowly getting it together, the gears are in motion boys. The season just started.
And please, no more red cards.

I have to admit that the future does look good with the talent of the kids coming through, when you add that to some decent football style it is good.

I honestly think we will give someone a fucking good hiding in the next couple of games, and then go on a bloody good run in the league....

I feel good after seeing the team play, especially when our team has the ball which is nearly always. However, I have in nearly all games this season felt uneasy when the opposition have the ball because I know it's due to some fuck up by one of our players, and then because they all look a little clueless without the ball - I expect the opposition to nearly always go and score. So year - feel good when the team has the ball, feel like looking away when they don't.

Regards,

MORON
(Downing for BARCA - fuck Themn)

It's good that fans seemed to be giving him time too, even though the point score looks quite bad. It's obviously because people can see us moving in a positive direction and see us attempting to get attractive, well played football going, rather than shitty hodgson ball

Did you know Barca is Spanish for Boat ?

No - but thanks. Interesting topic though - as I thought the name of the city 'Barcalona' was taken from the surname of the great Hannibal Barca whose father took that city in Roman times. Although some dispute this, if true though it could mean that Barca is an original North African word (pre-Islamic times) even though it may mean something different to the natives of Spain. I could be talking absolute ballshit though.

Fact of the day : Did you know that Barcalona was once known officially as Gothland.

Sunny mentioned this point in the other thread - but when any kid who's got talent watches these Cup games, he'll see hungry 16-20 year olds playing in a good system, getting chances and then jumping to the seniors quickly (Sterling, Shelvey, Suso etc). It's bound to make us an attractive proposal to the future stars of the game. More exposure with positive league results, and a return to the Champions League in 1-2 years will only magnify this.

I'm quietly happy about how the season has started for us, points aside - and, yes... I know, I know.

For me, this season's success or failure will be determined next season and beyond. And I'm excited at where I think we may get to...

But I'm most excited about Sunny being happy again! 🙂

Tries to start a sing-song

I have every confidence in Rodgers and that's not my Irish bias kicking in.

I like what hes done to date by way of dropping players that should have been dropped last season, by introducing many young, talented and hungry players into the team(although that's been kinda forced upon him a little) and by having a clear idea of how he wants us to play.

He's a brave and stubborn manager and it'll probably mean he'll make some mistakes along the way but as long as we see promising signs for the future then im happy enough.

Our first league win on Saturday will really kickstart the season.
