It seems almost certain that we will be buying a new left back, which will probably mean one of the two we have will leave.

At right back, I think that Bradley will be first choice. We may get another one in, or we may rely on Gomez as back up. We might even have another young player who can step up, I have no idea.

Personally I think investing in another centre back would be wise, as we do need to plan a bit for the future there.

Midfield I don't think we will see much change, unless a really good opportunity presents itself.

Forwards, if we get a replacement for Nunez who can actually score goals then that will be fine.

So, for me, given that a left back looks like it is happening anyway, centre back and striker are my priorities.

I'm happy with bradley at RB but both flanks need cover, clearly we need to buy a new LB for replacing Robbo over the season and we will also need cover for Bradley... Gomez is more than capable of playing but sadly seems to be made of glass.

As for the rest... who knows... I'm a rather big fan of pace... we need some fast fuckers in the attacking 3rd... Salah isn't immortal.... Djota is constantly sick... Nunez is moving on probably... IF we have big cash lying about go and buy some fast bastards.

I don't currently rate our midfield much either... that needs strengthening just for depth as much as anything else... Gravenberch was overplayed this year in terms of game time and we still need a decent DM.

That lad Kvaratskhelia... he'd never sign for us and we can't buy him but... by God that lad is nifty... shame we didn't try getting him last year....
