Just had a quick read at a Sevilla forum, they don't seem to know much about him either.
They are however a bit pissed off at us for stealing one of their youth players.

Sevilla FC's youth well represented among the candidates for FOOTBALL DRAFT AWARDS 2011

No doubt that Sevilla FC's youth is the best in Spain, and is more alive than ever. Sweet moment you live quarry Sevilla, enjoying perfect health. Not only is the calls for the lower echelons of the Spanish, but you can also check on the Draft 2011 Football Awards, as always with the mission to support and promote Spanish quarries.

Sevilla FC is well represented in the Awards Football Draft, enshrining the best youth players of football. Notably, the President is the former coach Inaki Saez. To choose the most promising young directors working athletes, coaches, secretaries, technical or FIFA agents. In the first list of 132 players are up to nine homegrown Sevilla FC. The elect are the defenses Moisés Jiménez (Sevilla C), Israel Puerto, Carlos Garrido and Antonio Luque (Honor Division), midfielders Jose Gomez Campaign (Sevilla Atletico) and Antonio Jesús Cotán (Cadete A), forwards and Jairo Luis Alberto Morillas (Sevilla Atletico), and the left back Antonio Luna transferred to UD Almería.

Last week the second meeting of Football Draft, where they met to become the first discard the list at 77 players. In this first cut were left out Garrido, Campaign and Cotán. Sevilla FC still has six players who choose to enter the Draft of gold, silver or bronze finish in the top 33 finalists. The latest Sevilla who won the award for best player went home and Diego Capel. Last season they were on the list difinitiva Juan Cala, in eleven silver, and Jose Gomez Campaign bronze in the team.

In the next cut will keep the list with 55 players. In the second session, along with Iñaki Sáez, have been Unay Emery and John Mata, coach and player of Valencia CF. The list is players like De Gea, Bojan, Muniain, Channels, Fran Merida and Kiko Femenía.

Finally, Sevilla FC is also represented in the Draft Women with Dolores Gallardo goalkeeper, better known as Lola, who is already among the 55 chosen for the next phase. Lola last year won the award for best women's soccer goalkeeper.

So seems like he made the top 132 players list, then failed to crack the top 77, or something like that.

Also read somewhere he's in the Spanish U-16 team.

Found an English article about the 132 players mentioned above:

Spotlight on Youth in La Liga

The Case for a Level Playing Field

Better late than never? Well, the transfer of Jon Miquel Toral to Arsenal from Barçelona has come and gone. Another youngster has been lured to the money and glamour of the Premier league. Toral is half English, so this could be considered a different case than Cesc, Merida, among others. My biggest pet peeve is the disparity amongst federations aka the legal age that someone can sign a European player to a professional contract.

I thought that UEFA was trying to level the playing field and encourage European players to develop locally with the recent Home Grown Rule (see my previous blog from earlier this year). I would like to see canteranos stay at their youth club until the age of 18. At that time, they could decide to sign a professional contract, or move on. I was under the impression that UEFA was going to do something to protect youth and the development of players. Obviously I was wrong.

Record Buyout Clause for a Youngster

Up in the north, Athletic Bilbao continues to weave their magic by scouting, pinching, and developing their young. This month, Athletic broke all records by signing young 16 year old defender Aymeric Laporte, a French Basque to a semi professional contract with a buyout clause of 18 million! The contract runs through 2014. The club has high hopes for the defender, who is breaking all records in the juvenil ranks.

Athletic decided recently to sign their cadets and juvenil players to semi professional contracts with buyout clauses, to fight off the big clubs like Liverpool, PSG, and Arsenal, from stealing their future. They want to avoid what happened in the case of San Jose and Berchiche who were signed by Liverpool and Tottenham for only 400,000 Euros each. San Jose was repurchased later for 2.7M Euros by ACB. Since then, Bilbo has contracted Iker Guarrotxena (young midfielder), Eric Saborit (youth side from Espanyol), Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta (cadet brought midfielder Eibar) and Jonas Ramalho (central cadet). Each player has a 10M Euro buyout clause.

Football Draft 2011

Each year the Spanish FA, and EA Sports recognize the cantera and top young players in Spanish football. Players are nominated and selected by a prestigious group of ex coaches, staff, and players. The winners are honored at the end of the season at a gala event. Last year the winners were Bojan Krkic (Barça), Sergio Canales (Racing Santander), Dani Parejo (Getafe) , David De Gea (Atlético Madrid), Cesar Azpilicueta (Osasuna), and Alvaro Domínguez (Atlético Madrid).

Among the selected players being nominated this year are previous winners Bojan, Canales, and De Gea, as well as Thiago, who just signed with the Barça first team. Lesser know players such as Marc Bartra, a defender who Guardiola has already debuted in Primera, Real Madrid canterano Pablo Sarabia and Valencia starlet Isco. Special praise was given to the great youth work occurring at Real Sociedad, Espanyol, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

Obviously the big clubs' PR departments are very productive. But isn't it wonderful to see so many players nominated that are already playing in the first team at their clubs, or for Spain at the youth level? The future looks bright!

LIVERPOOL boss Kenny Dalglish is ready to sign up a bunch of superkids – as he builds a new Anfield golden generation of the best young talent around.

Dalglish has jumped to the head of the queue for Caen’s 16-year-old hot-shot M’Baye Niang and is ready to offer £10million for the young sensation.

Dalglish is looking to beat Tottenham and Manchester City in the race for Niang, who has played only a handful of games since making his first-team debut last season and scored just three goals.

City hoped to do a double-quick deal for Niang after opening talks with the French club.

But Spurs supremo Daniel Levy stepped in with the first concrete offer of £5m down, and a further £5m in instalments.

Now Dalglish aims to trump that and bring Niang to Anfield
, where he will be groomed for the first team.

However, the Kop will have to pay much of the £10m fee in guaranteed payments to see off their rivals as Caen look to exploit the auction among the three Premier League clubs.

Dalglish also has men in Spain in an attempt to sign Sevilla youngster Antonio Cotan. The defender is due to sign for the Anfield club and go into their academy ranks.

The Liverpool boss was focusing on young talent in his previous role at the club and he believes – along with the American owners – that the Merseysiders need to get back to bringing through the next generation.

Dalglish has also sent his spies to Mexico for the under-17 World Cup.

Their targets are England’s Crewe pair Max Clayton and Nick Powell.

Striker Clayton has been on Dalglish’s radar for some time, while midfielder Powell is also attracting big interest.

Both youngsters are international team-mates of the brilliant Raheem Sterling, Liverpool’s next big thing.
