Nobody said it was only a Skrtel issue. All defenders do it, however some are rather more discreet than others. Skrtel's is 'in your face' and I'm rather shocked actually that he's gotten away with it up to now. I said that Toure did not teach Skrtel this 'trick', he's been doing it for years before Toure arrived, however with age he's actually getting worse.

The likelihood of us winning the title is very small, to the point that it's not really worth talking about as a real possibility in my opinion. Yeah, anything can happen (though as you know the league is very different than a single match of football so Istanbul is not a good example to draw on) and if you wanna be a dreamer and carry on with the all bravado and posturing, fine, but there is no need to come down on people who are basically just calling it like it is.

This isn't Anfield on match day and there are no rival fans to put in their place or whatever - it's surely a place where you can just be honest about your team.

ok I knew that was coming. But there was a time when Toure was actually better than Skrtel, as a passer, defender, may be may be everything. But Skrtel has improved a lot and on current form Skrtel is better than Toure. I agree that passing stats can be misleading, but there is another thing, Skrtel passes to his partner many times but lately he also chooses the right person to pass to inititate the attack. I am sure if Prince Benny can pull out some stats for me, Toure's passing accuracy is low becaue he tends to play long balls more
, ok sometimes he finds Sturridge like against Everton, or Suaerz against WestBrom, but Toure starts panicking, he isnt lately the same calm n composed Toure as he was before. Sakho's stats are also with 90% passing accuracy and it doesnt mean that he plays safe passes, he actually plays the ball out of defence (although not neatly everytime).

Each to their own. I would say Skrtel is superior to Toure in every aspect...passing, aerially, in the tackle etc.
 
Hope we turn up like we did against Everton. Massive game.

Can see us going for the same team as against Everton aswell.

Another one Zenned out. Weird. No nerves at all - yet.

Why is this ? Is it because if we win we're back in it (the PL race) but losing is no real biggie because Everton/Spurs will also lose to them and everyone has been saying we are really only in a race for 4th (and subconsciously I've accepted that) ?

Playing Arsenal is the one game i completely dread. I have less fear when we play man utd, city or chelsea to be honest. At least against those teams we always give them a good game whether we win or lose. But against Arsenal we normally play poor and lose. Our style under rodgers suits them perfectly. I hope we change formation and go back to the formation which blocked up the midfield against spurs and WHL.

We get peaks of 22M but generally 10 to 12 (residential). If I was one suburb over I could get 100MB (residential).

As for the game I was more confident a few days ago. Getting nervous now.

The start of the end for Arsenal?
And so beginneth Arsenal's run of doom, path of peril, sequence to inevitable tragedy, etc. On Saturday lunchtime they travel to Liverpool, before hosting Manchester United, facing Liverpool once more (in the FA Cup), then welcoming Champions League holders Bayern Munich to Emirates Stadium. Boy, oh boy. Considering what lies ahead it is unlikely that the Gunners' current two-point advantage at the summit will be enough to see them still on top come the end of February -- although it is in May when the title is decided, of course.
 
PREDICTIONS
Dave Usher: Draw -- The heart says Liverpool to win 3-2, but the head is telling me I should be happy with a draw as Brendan Rodgers has found it very difficult against Arsenal since taking over at Anfield. It's not a good match-up in terms of style for Liverpool -- Arsenal tend to do what Liverpool want to do, only they do it better. Still, Liverpool's front three will cause anyone problems and Anfield has been something of a fortress this season, so it promises to be a great spectacle.

Andrew Mangan: Draw -- Despite Arsenal's defensive stability, it's away from home where they've been most likely to concede. Liverpool's quality up front makes it difficult not to see them make a breakthrough at some point, but Arsenal have goals throughout the side too. A score draw for me.
