If you go for sheer talent then you're picking Torres or Suarez for their respective 2 years of excellence.

If you need more than that, like I do, your looking at the likes of Hyypia. Maybe Hamann and Alonso

The natural answer is Alonso, but the truth is they didn't work that well as a pair in midfield so I'd say that it's between Torres and Owen. Nah Torres, definitely.

Obvious answer is Suarez. But I reckon Hyypia did the most for the team while Gerrard was playing, Suarez's effectiveness was too short.

I think he'd say Torres, because of the partnership he had. Suarez was probably the "best" player he played alongside, but I reckon Torres or Alonso are the two players he himself enjoyed playing alongside the most.

That 07/08 season when they got 55 goals between them was magic.
The two of them were loving football and playing with a smile.
I think that was Gerrard's best season in a Liverpool shirt and probably the one he enjoyed playing the most despite not winning a trophy.
