Yeah, Torres was the one.

I actually believed the stuff about him loving the club. I mean, I think he did and you can see it in his eyes that he knew he’d made the wrong decision as soon as he’d done it.

I just didn’t expect he’d leave.

After that, I just expected no loyalty from anyone, so it’s was no surprise when Suarez or Sterling or Coutinho or Trent or Raheem wanted out.

No point in ever getting that worked up about a player.

Imagine the emotions when we have to say goodbye to Salah, VVD and Ali in two years time. They'll leave as heroes ad legends. They've earned their place to be mentioned in the same sentence as John Barnes, Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish etc...

Fowler hands down. Never forgave GED for it and was ecstatic when Rafa brought him back and he banged in a few goals at the end of the season.

From a 'Oh well, that was nice, but now we're fucked for years again' standpoint, it can only be Torres. But from a 'Ah, no, I fucking love that lad' standpoint, it's Sadio, easily.

100% - For me, all three start in the Greatest Liverpool team of all time. Certainly of my lifetime, at least...

That decision wasn't made for footballing reasons. There was a lot going wrong around Fowler, both within the club and away from it, which contributed to his departure and Thommo may well have been as involved as GH, since Fowler managed to get on the wrong side of him too.

I was also glad to see him back though.

You should forgive GH, he is no longer with us. I hated his style of Football but we did see trophies. He made mistakes, all managers do. Fowler wasn't perfect either

Illori for me - it’s horrible he left before even playing for the reserves.

Can’t get over it.

In an alternative timeline, it would have been Gerrard. That would have been devastating.

My first real heartbreak was Ray Kennedy to Swansea... I was devastated. But then I met the man who will hold my heart forever.
