I know someone who knows the Columbian Ambassador. When Diaz's father was kidnapped, the embassy went through burning hoops to get his father released. Appaz Diaz never wrote or called to say Thank You.

Well, the player who lifted his 7 shirt back then, his funeral was just a couple of days ago. Diaz seemed to be smiling pretty brightly so.. won't put it past him.

I'm telling you what I've heard. Neither did Diaz or his Father showed any gratitude to the embassy. Getting money to kidnappers was not easy, unlike what they show you getting $2m to these kidnappers carries its own danger. The money was Diaz's
 
Like I said, I'm not arsed, he can go if he wants to. Fuck him. But let's not get done on the cheap, if Barca and Bayern want him, they can pay top dollar for him. He's not worth the money being touted anyway, not in terms of output. If our stats team are looking at it, you can bet they are saying that it's the perfect opportunity to make some money on him and bring in someone who ticks the right boxes.
 
Barca and Bayern were willing to pay William's release clause so they obviously have £50 million in cash lying around.

£70 million in instalments is a fair deal I would think. That said, I'm a pussy when it comes to negotiating. £66 million and he's yours.
 
It's Edwards we're talking about. He'll somehow get the devil assigned to Barcelona's doctors to join us in the deal

£70 mill.opens negotiations AFAIC, nothing more. They want him and we'll need to buy a quality squaddie to replace him.
 
Apaz Rodrygo is available for £75m-£80m. If can get within £15m of that for Diaz then we should pull the trigger on both deals rapidly.

Would rather pull the trigger on someone like Fofana to be honest.
 
I'd rather pull the trigger on Starmer, and then follow up with all his cabinet.

If I was any good at digital art I'd take that "How am I doing boss" meme and replace Brendan with Starmer and have Thatcher & Tebbit in the cloud (maybe add a few flames around them)
