Well their manager will feel content at the fact that there’s 8 months or so before Isak needs to have full fitness so won’t give a fuck about short term prospects at LFC.Granted I don’t give a flying fuck about international football…but surely an international manager would at least think about the possibility that what’s best for his squad’s best player is to get fit and firing quickly for his new club - in order to be in the best shape to lead the line for Sweden in the future?
Isak’s been in the Sweden squad for ages, I’m sure he doesn’t need any extra intl bonding time when his club career has been so fraught over the summer. He could have been settling in at the Axa and getting up to speed with benefit to the next Intl round of matches.
