Most likely Paper Talk..

In for him, should Suarez leave according to the Mirror..

Id sign him.. he is a nutter.. We love nutters at this club..

He needs a special head coach - even Mourinho struggled with him. I don't know if Rodgers is the man. This kid is outrageouly talented, he's just not there and finds himself in shit most of the time. I don't think it would be a smart investment though I think he'll be in the PL next year with Mourinho ...

The problem is that you can only talk about talent for so long. It's been six years since he burst onto the scene at Inter - has he come anywhere near close to realizing any of that supposed potential?

To be honest, I'm no longer even sure what makes him potentially so good. He lacks pace, is kinda work shy on the pitch and is not particularly versatile in terms of position. He's strong and a good finisher... is that enough to elevate him talent wise above others?

He's still ... what ... 23? 24? He can turn it around quite easily if he's put in the right situation ... Probably either Germany, France or England. He does lack pace, but Mourinho did use him - which means he WILL work. As I said, he needs the right coach to help him as he's clearly lacking the self-control and maturity to consistently show his talents. That being said, I can't see him becoming anything really because he's not capable of maturing and putting the work into his game.

I've never seen any evidence of this outrageous talent. He's just another example of a stupid young footballer who who got so wrapped up in his own hype that he forgot he needs to put the graft in to make it work.
This^^^ - I never thought he was that good tbh.

good points, but I think he is good pace wise. I wonder whether BR could do a studge with him? for the right price (10-12m) I would be tempted but they would ask for more I think.

Never in a million fucking years would I want him at liverpool. So people are just beyond help and he's one of them. Total fruit who would want ridiculous wages as well. I'd love him to return to the premiership as he makes me laugh, but just not with us.

A player with great talents.

But looks like he is going more the way of Antonio Cassano.

What are these talents by the way? I mean his link up play isnt great. He's not an intelligent footballer nor does he play for the team. Good finisher and good hold up play but thats about it.

SuperMario would be a great signing but he would need constant attention and nurturing. Sturridge could have a positive effect on him. I love the super talented nutter. When he is in the mood to play, he is unplayable. He needs to apply himself and do much more for consistency and to grow into his potential. There's alot more in there than we have seen.

Are Sterling and Balotelli more similar than Sterling and Lallana?

I'd say so yeah, but there's not much in it.

Sterling could play as a striker, and prefers to play on the last line, whereas Lallana is more your midfield.attacking mid type.

Ehh. I would say Lallana and Sterling are much much more comparable players than Balotelli and Sterling.

I mean, we played Sterling in that AM role down the stretch of the season with success, the same role Lallana would be expected to play. Plus Sterling and Lallana are much better on the ball than Balotelli, and have more comparable body builds.

Is Lallana better than Sterling in your opinion?
IMO Lallana is far more consistent and reads the game better but Sterling has more actual talent. Lallana isn't gonna get more talented but Sterling can become more consistent (and will) and is also showing great signs that he's learning quickly..................so Sterling will probably end up being the more effective player but they're 2 players I'd love to have play for LFC.
