Maybe that means they’ll want/need to cash in on “pure profit” for Colwill and we can re-ignite our interest.

Unless they’re selling their U21 team to themselves for a few hundred million.

By my calculations, they’ve signed enough #10’s/wingers under the Boehly tenure to field an entire team (not counting youngsters and those loaned out):

2. Nkunku
3. Sterling
4. Mudryk

9. Joao Felix
10. Gittens
11. Estevao

Sterling is getting sold or loaned out.
Nkunu is getting sold.
Mudryk suspended.
Sancho returned to Man U.
Madueke sold to Arsenal.
Felix is getting sold, talks of Benfica signing him.

So basically it's:

RW/LW: Estevao, Neto, Gittens,
AM: Palmer

Xavi can play on the wing or as an attacking mid. Same with Palmer

ST: Pedro, Delap

Um... No

I think Newcastle has privately agreed to sell Isak to Liverpool for £120ish m, subject to them signing Sesko and Wissa, and Isak putting in a transfer request.

We need this deal to go through, and the sooner the better. Agent Klopp at the double please.

Isak won't put in a transfer request. He'd lose a fortune. It's very rare players put in a request nowadays because the repercussions are severe.

But I can absolutely see that Newcastle won't sell him if they can't get Sesko. We need that transfer to go through. This is going to be a long drawn out saga.

Yes. I was listening to someone yesterday who raised this and it reminded me of it's existence, Rory Jennings perhaps. It's not new - I've seen this mentioned many times over the past few years.
