Other clubs transfer news (home and abroad)

Fernandes is a weapons-grade tw@t but he's more than decent. Without him they'd most likely have gone down this season.

Funny thing - he clearly talented, but I think he more than anyone typifies what’s happened to Utd - scores against the wee team, rarely turns up against the big teams, sulks on the pitch, drifts out of games, terrible captain, just not disciplined or a team player.

He’s the first one they should be getting rid of.

I hope he stays.

I mean, this would basically be the same as staying and United but getting paid more. He'll still be head and shoulders above a load of team-mates who can barely kick a ball and he'll have no prospect of winning anything meaningful before he retires.

Real have signed some no mark for 10m when they could have paid zero in 30 days.

Can only assume they were pressured into it by their fans after a poor season, now they're clearly prioritising this CWC shambles that kicks off in a few weeks.

Modo will be devastated.

Seems like a lot for someone who's had 1 decent season and will be 27 next month.

€70m for Reindeer? Bloody hell. This is exactly what I've been saying about City, for the past 2 seasons, buying mediocre replacements for world class players. It's no wonder they were miles off it this season and keep this up and they'll be miles off it next as well.

In fairness Antony's apparently been doing OK for Real Betis. That said, the hierarchy at Leverkusen will probably take some persuading.

ETH is the biggest chancer in the game.

Watch him go for Ziyech to replace Wirtz. His reputation is only built off the Ajax team that got beaten by fucking Spurs

And the extra space and time in the Bundesliga might suit Antony like it has in Spain.

Could see even in the Conference League final that he gets shut down by Premier League teams but just a little half second extra in continental leagues allows him to put his skill on display.
