Other clubs transfer news (home and abroad)

I wonder if Colwill is the first of several to come (those who played extensive minutes at the Club World Cup):

CWC Casualty List:
- Levi Colwill - ACL (5 games, 478 minutes)

Guehi is a former Chelsea youth player and he's also from London.
So Chelsea does have the upper hand logistically.
We all know what happened with Lavia and Caicedo. So no room for docking around this time. Palace are extremely lucky, cause this might lead to a bidding war. I just hope we stay out of it.

Being a former Chelsea player could count against them as easily as for them. It's true that such a move would be logistically easier but Guehi strikes me as the kind of guy who might not necessarily prioritise that over and above the chance to join the champions and league favourites. I'm not saying he'll defo come to us but I don't fully share the pessimism over the issue that seems to be spreading on here and elsewhere.

Where I do agree is that we shouldn't be drawn into a bidding war. We should negotiate hard, but within the limits we consider appropriate.

Manchester City are concerned about the possibility of losing Spain captain Rodri, 29, as he has yet to decide whether to extend his contract beyond in 2027, with Real Madridlooking to sign a central midfielder this summer. (AS - in Spanish)

Yes it’s AS, but still funny…

United most likely to buy donarumma, and I have to say that they've had a surprisingly decent summer. If they get baleba I'm a little wary that they'll be closer to us than I'd like

Hahaha, so let me get this shit right......Utd can spend £64m on Cunha.....£70m on Mbeumo....£75m on Sesko......£100m for Baleba......+ whatever for Donnarumma and haven't needed to sell any fucker?

But we have to sell half our squad to bring in some cunt?

Make this shit fucking make sense.

There is actually a minus percent chance of them getting Baleba.

Exactly, when I said that Man U is a rich club people here shot me down instantly.

It's another 100m on top of a GK. Not possible.

Anything’s possible - they’ll put ticket prices up and tell everyone they needed to in order to sign all the players the fans want - they’ll re-structure their debt, they ‘ll get some other sort of investment, there’ll be some trick that can employ to be able to do its- because ultimately, they need to be in the CL and the only way they’re going to be able to do it is by having a good team.

The only thing I think that will truly fuck them, is the cost of building a new stadium and I reckon the Government will spaff a shitload n the project to help them out citing some sort of Urban renewal job creation bullshit.

That stadium will cost close to £5bn if it is anything like the rendering with all the other building additions

Watch Andy Burnham try to leverage it as an example of his ability to attract investment and get Britain growing or something so as he can make a play for PM… before agreeing to fund 90% of it from taxpayers money and then blaming the Tories for having no money to spend on public services.

Just the 80 mill spent on new GKs this summer for City then. Donnabummer with probably 400k per week wages

Grealish loan could be made permanent for 50 mill £ next summer.
He’s 29.

If Everton go through with that then fuck me.
